LinkedIn Marketing Guide
Through this guide, you will learn how to advertise on LinkedIn marketing and utilize this network in your marketing strategy. Advertisement creation process is simple, just follow the steps given below:
Step – 1 Go to LinkedIn and click on the advertise tab.
Step – 2 You will see the Linkedin marketing campaign manager on the next screen. From there, click on the create campaign button on the top right corner of this page.
Step – 3 Next, you need to choose an ad product, one of the three options as given below in the picture. Click on learn more button to read further information about it.
Step – 4 Type in the name of this Linkedin campaign and your preferred language. Click next.
Step – 5 In this step, we’ll create the ad copy. Choose where you want users to go when they click on this ad. Next, add a relevant image, a catchy headline, and a small description. You will be able to see the preview of this ad on the right side of the page.
Step – 6 In the picture below, you can see some vital information about the ad that you created – status, creative ID, headline, and description. At the bottom of this page, there are three options – duplicate, edit and manage tracking options. The last option allows you to add tracking tags for impressions and clicks.
Step – 7 This is the most important step after you’ve created the ad. You can choose to target by creating an audience below or use an already saved audience previously. After that comes location targeting. Include as many regions as you want – country, state, city or town. And you can even choose to exclude one or more regions. Lastly, select the specific targeting criteria to zero in on your ideal audience. For eg – if you pick company name – then you need to choose to include or exclude company names.
Step – 8 This step deals with budgeting and scheduling. There are two bid types – Cost per click and Cost per impressions. You can choose from either of these. Set a daily budget – it basically is the amount that you’re willing to spend on the ad on a single day. Also, set the amount of bid – this is the amount that you’ll pay when someone clicks on the ad. And lastly, choose the campaign’s start and end date.
Step – 9 This is the last step of ad creation. Here, you can review your campaign details and pay the required amount so that the ads can start showing on the network. After filling in your payment details, click on the review order and a success message will appear on the next page.
